The deadly relationship between the Rev Tom Bird and his secretary Lorna Anderson, that led to them seeking help from a third party to kill her husband so they could be together. The arrangement led to Martin Anderson's fatal shooting along Kansas Highway 177 in November 1983, but it would only be a matter of time until police officers linked this event and the apparently accidental death of Bird's wife in a road incident earlier that year
