President Gaviria comes to terms with the fact that there will be no peace unless he gives Pablo whatever he wants and agrees to Pablo's terms of surrender. Despite orders to back off Pablo, Murphy and Peña resolve to catch him themselves before he has a chance to turn himself in. Meanwhile, the building that Pablo and his family are hiding out in gets bombed, and Gustavo gets ambushed and tortured by Carillo's men. Pablo learns that both the bombing and the tip to Carillo's men on Gustavo's location were tips from the Cali cartel
