Cary's relationship with Dyan Cannon finally blossoms and he takes her to visit his childhood home in Bristol, and she feels like she finally knows the real man while on the trip and moves in with him back in Los Angeles. However, she soon discovers that not everything is perfect with the golden man of Hollywood as Cary has a controlling nature and seems to find fault with tiny details that include Dyan's dress sense and her partying.
