The start of the Naíonra year brings a mix of nerves and tears, affecting not only young children but their parents too. In the space of a few short months, the youngsters grow in confidence, learn new skills, new words and make new friends. They become part of a unique new social group and hear new words as part of daily life. All the important routines are now well established from putting on coats to eating lunch. It all happens through play, song and fun
