In October 2012, Turkish actor Rüzgar Erkoçlar received his first testosterone injection for his gender affirmation. Things looked positive at first - until he was outed on Twitter (aka X), and suddenly Rüzgar's journey was thrust onto the front pages. A media frenzy ensued, and the question of trans-rights gripped Turkey, with Rüzgar the reluctant figurehead. This documentary plots his story and struggle for state recognition
