People who live and work around Britain's ports and rivers, beginning in Plymouth in the south west. Local entrepreneur Ben Squire is struggling to make ends meet during a busy summer season, but with a fishing operation, boat trips and a cafe to juggle, it isn't proving easy. The new ship's company of HMS Sutherland also face a testing time as they try to prove they are up to the job so the vessel can rejoin active service in the Royal Navy
