Two young officers, and best friends, find the war in Afghanistan as challenging as ever when they lead their platoons into an area of Helmand known as Death Valley. The men of C Company, 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment have to deal with the fallout when a family wedding party is blown up by a roadside bomb, and as their tour finishes an officer is killed by an explosive device. Back in the UK, the soldiers share their experiences
