Twenty miles from York, a middle-aged man is found dead at the side of a busy country road, having been thrown from his upturned car, leaving veteran crash investigator Steve Kirkbright to uncover what went wrong. Meanwhile, on the A64, a stranded motorist has been hit from behind by a van, and PC Paddy Green must determine whether the driver is at fault
