What happened in Emmerdale Wednesday, April 2: The pub window was smashed and Brenda chose her cruise partner
Chas was quick to blame Ella once again
In Emmerdale Wednesday, April 2, someone smashed the pub window, leaving Chas and Liam convinced Ella’s stalking is getting worse – while she watched from a distance.
Nicola kept trying to get on the cruise with Brenda, but she ultimately chose someone else.
And Marlon came clean to April, and the pair appeared to bond slightly.
Read on for a full Emmerdale recap of Wednesday night.

Ella’s stalking intensified in Emmerdale
After taking John’s advice, Liam and Chas woke up late because he had switched his phone off. But on the plus, there were no messages from Ella.
Chas was at their wedding meeting, when Belle received an email from Liam, cancelling their entire wedding. However, the doctor soon arrived, completely unaware that an email had been sent. When he checked the address, he realised there was an ‘r’ in his name – so it had been a fake.

The pub window was smashed
Chas and Liam head back to the pub, where they fill Aaron in on what had happened. But they are interrupted by a smash.
When they head outside they find the window completely smashed. And all of them immediately think it was Ella (John was conveniently missing from that scene).
Liam finally calls the police, but PC Swirling admitted they can’t do much about it until they find her. But unbeknownst to everyone, Ella was watching them from a distance.

Emmerdale Wednesday night: Nicola’s cruise hopes were shattered
Very much still intent on going on the cruise, Nicola bribes Jimmy into thinking it’s a good idea by suggesting they take a trip to Vegas afterwards.
But when she brings it up to Brenda again, the thought of spending everyday together looks like it terrifies her. Jimmy then also goes to try to convince her into bringing Nicola, but she confessed that she doesn’t think their friendship could last it.
She orchestrates a plan to get them all in the pub together and informs Nicola that Cathy will be accompanying her on the cruise – paves the way for Cathy actress Gabrielle to take time off for her A Levels.

Jimmy speaks to Eric in Emmerdale recap
However, Jimmy clearly didn’t want that outcome. And so he heads off to see Eric.
He leads him to believe that Brenda had been telling Nicola how she wonders what their life would be like had they not split up. And encourages him to make one last try with her.

Marlon comes clean to April
When Rhona’s phone alerts her that she can connect to a tracking device, she and Mary immediately know Marlon is responsible. And he comes clean. But then they fear that April took the wrong coat on purpose as she may have gotten the same alert.
Marlon and April meet at The Hide, and he tells her everything about the tracker. At first she is angry, but when he explained that her prank yesterday left him remembering identifying Becca’s body, there appears to be a thaw between them.
April even smiled at her dad – and then proceeded to order some dessert together. Are we finally finished with their battered relationship?

Mary decides to leave
When speaking to Rhona about how she feels like she has messed everything up with Vanessa, Mary admits she is going to take some time out of the village.
She has decided to stay with Rhona’s aunt, giving them time to mend their family. But she assures her daughter that it won’t be forever.
When will Mary be back – will you miss her?

Kim schemes to bring Dawn and Billy closer
One person who is not going to give up on Dawn and Billy is Kim. So when the opportunity for them to spend the day alone together arises, Kim makes them take it.
The pair head to a fancy bottomless brunch, but find that it’s fully booked. So, they end up at The Hide. But by the time they get home, they appear to have had a fun day together.
However, when Dawn tells Kim that Joe means nothing to her, her face doesn’t exactly match her words.
