What time is Emmerdale on tonight?
On Friday March 28, 2025, Emmerdale will air as usual at 7.30pm on ITV. It is on for half-an-hour and we will find out if Caleb lives or dies – and if Joe manages to get his kidney.
For those who don’t want to wait, the episode is already available on streaming service ITVX. It is released there every day at 7am.

What happens in Emmerdale – Crowley tries to save Caleb and Joe
After Caleb flatlined last night (Thursday March 27), Joe insists Dr Crowley save him – and still perform the transplant. It’s a tall order, but Crowley works as hard as he can to try and bring Caleb back. Will he manage it? And will Joe get the transplant he needs to save his life?
Elsewhere, April decides to spend time with Arthur and some of her other old friends. But her experiences on the streets make her feel on the outer and unable to fit in. Soon things take another turn as April tries to make herself feel better…
When Marlon finds out what has happened he despairs. He and Rhona just don’t know how to handle April and help her through this.

More changes ahead to the Emmerdale schedule for 2026 ‘power hour’
It’ll be all change for ITV and Emmerdale in 2026 after the soap announced a new schedule. The soap ‘power hour’ will start from next January.
Emmerdale will continue to air five nights a week. New episodes will also drop on ITVX every morning at 7am as usual – meaning we don’t have to wait all day if we don’t want to!
However, the soap will move to a new time slot of 8pm. The Thursday double bill will also be cut to half an hour to make way for additional episodes of Coronation Street.
This ensures faster-paced, digestible episodes – a 30-minute format which has already proven popular with viewers.

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am.
Classic Emmerdale usually airs every weekday on ITV3 at 6am and 6.30am, plus 1.40pm and 2.10pm.
