April and Marlon reach breaking point in Emmerdale spoilers
1. Marlon makes a confession
Things between April and Marlon aren’t good. He wants her to see he’s not angry, he’s just concerned. But then he admits he stole the ketamine and framed Dylan. April’s shocked. Keen to fix things, Marlon shows her Dylan’s letter he hid from her. As April rushes away distraught over his lies, Marlon has only made things worse.
2. April unconscious after stealing drugs
Getting into the vet’s April manages to steal a vial of ketamine. Marlon comes home later and finds her collapsed with the empty vial next to her. Will she be okay?
3. Marlon faces a choice
Desperate to keep on top of April’s whereabouts, Marlon secretly plants a tracking device in her coat. But Rhona discovers it and confronts her husband. She begs him to give April the freedom she wants, but will Maarlon decide to do so?

4. Ella’s harrassment steps up
Chas and Liam are at their wits end with Ella’s constant calls and messages. John advises Liam turns off his phone, but although it calms things down, Belle then gets an email cancelling Liam and Chas’ wedding. Desperate Liam calls the police, but will it stop Ella?
5. Ella holds Mandy hostage
A window is smashed at the pub and Chas and Liam are sure Ella is behind it. But Ella is in the shadows watching them. She then confronts Mandy at home and demands to speak to Liam. Mandy refuses, so Ella holds Mandy against her will forcing Liam to come over.
6. Ella kills Liam?
As Ella begs Liam to believe she’s being framed, Liam pretends he believes her and talks about them getting back together. But Ella realises she’s being tricked and grabs a knife. When Chas and Mandy arrive, Ella flees with Liam following her.
In the woods, there’s a confrontation and Ella pushes Liam. He falls and hits his head and Ella thinks she’s killed him. Has she?

7. Nicola wants the cruise
Determined to get the cruise tickets Brenda won for herself and Jimmy, Nicola goes the charm offensive. But Brenda reveals she’s going alone. Nicola then changes tack to be Brenda’s plus one. Jimmy’s not impressed to learn he’s been ditched.
8. Hope for Pollard
Getting the wrong end of the stick, Jimmy soon tells Pollard there is still a chance for him and Brenda. Eric is thrilled and when Brenda tries to talk to him the next day he has totally got his hopes up. Is Pollard going to be left heartbroken?

Belle is stunned when Jacob offers to sell her the wedding business. Will she accept?
10. Kammy and Sarah sacked in Emmerdale spoilers
Kammy refuses to go on a joyride in a customer’s sport’s car with Sarah. But then the customer accuses Kammy of scratching his car. Cain doesn’t back him, leaving Sarah furious. The customer terminates his contract with the garage and Cain sacks both Kammy and Sarah.
11. Vinny wants to move in
With Gabby needing to find childcare that isn’t Kim, Vinny has a suggestion that thrills her. Will she agree?
12. Mary tries to make amends
Desperate to put things right, Mary once again tries to win Vanessa over. But it’s useless as V won’t listen. Is there anything Mary can do?
13. Can Dawn and Billy fix things in Emmerdale spoilers
Dawn feels awful as it seems Billy really wants to make their marriage work. Kim does too and engineers time alone for them. Will it help?

I know, I know, we’ve banged on about Paula Lane being wasted as Ella Forster in Emmerdale multiple times, you’re probably as sick of it as we are of hearing her say “I didn’t do it”.
BUT – and it’s a big but – I really, truly, honestly believe it.
The woman who played Kylie Platt in Coronation Street is coming to Emmerdale and what do they do? Make her a child killer and then forget about her.
The psycho stalker we’re witnessing at the moment is where they should have gone all along.
Ella in Emmerdale this year
For the past six months Ella had a shortlived relationship ith Dr Liam, fawned over him repeatedly when he dumped her for Chas, whinged about being alone, lost her job at the vets, lost her home with Liam and moved in with Manpreet. She’s been through a lot so of course she’s entitled to be a bit woe is me, but it’s all been rather boring.
And now, she’s been accused of spiking Chas Dingle. She’s also been sacked from the surgery and told to move out by Manpreet. She’s effectively being forced out of the village and her reaction is to go crazy.
The genius of Paula Lane’s performance is that we genuinely don’t know whether Ella is telling the truth. Is she as unhinged as she appears? Or are her desperate protestations of innocence because she’s so frustrated no one believes her when she’s actually not lying? We just don’t know and it’s brilliant.
In fact, this should have happened a long time ago. All this time Ella could have been going off the rails in the background starting out small and moving to this big crescendo of harrassment drama. And we could have been guessing who the bad guy really was.
All of this should have been playing out for a while, Emmerdale definitely missed a trick with this one.
