A blast from the past for Edna

Edna goes to the wedding blessing for her granddaughter Eve and she’s surprised to see her sister Lily there. Edna’s son Peter tells her it’s time for the sisters to put the past behind them and make amends. But Lily asks Edna how she’s managed to live for so long with such a terrible secret – just as Tom interrupts.

Edna rushes off, but Tom follows her and quizzes her about what’s upsetting her. When Edna begins to open up, Tom’s shocked by what he hears!

Chas gets romance advice in Classic Emmerdale

Elsewhere, Chas Dingle tells Debbie she’s worried about what Rosemary is up to. Debbie suggests that setting a wedding date with Carl would be the easiest way for Chas to shut Rosemary up! When Chas chats to Carl about it, he’s understanding about her concerns.

Scott and Debbie make amends

Meanwhile, Scott and Debbie help Rodney to fix up his classic car, and they’re surprised by how willing he is to work with them.

Tom hears Edna’s story

Tom’s shocked when Edna confesses that Peter isn’t her son! He’s actually Lily’s child. She confesses that when Peter was five, Lily wanted him back and Edna refused. But she adds she was always scared to get close to Peter in case he got taken away. Tom urges her to speak to Lily about it.

Len’s protesting in Classic Emmerdale

Back in the village, Len’s drumming up support among the locals for his petition against the closure of the post office. He’s pleased when several protesters add their voices and even the local press gets involved.

Hari’s on a slippery slope

Elsewhere, Hari is still struggling with his leg injury. He takes some veterinary painkillers and heads off for his date with his Louise.
