Chas collapsed and John to the rescue in Emmerdale episode recap
At the beginning of the episode Chas is taking more pain killers for her back, while Liam and John try to get her to let them help around the pub. But she is adamant that she’s fine.
John has the day off. And instead of spending it with his new fiance, he heads to the cafe with Vic, where he admits he really wants Chas to like him because it will “make life easier”.
Back at the pub, Chas collapses alone, hitting her head on the way down, knocking her out. Conveniently John and Vic arrive not much later, and he saves the day!
Aaron, Liam and John all arrive at the hospital, awaiting news on Chas. The doctor informs them that she is awake but is being kept in for a concussion. And that it looks like she has been taking too many pills. But Chas assures that she has taken them as she was told, which Liam backs up.
With Liam convinced something else happened to Chas, and her earlier comment about her missing engagement ring, has she been targeted? And if so – was it Ella? Or perhaps ‘serial killer’ John?

Manpreet participates in Joe’s plan in Emmerdale
When Manpreet was talking to Caleb at Frank Tate’s grave, she asked how he died. And when Caleb told her he had a heart attack, she seemed torn over Joe’s request. But when Joe asked her about their chat, she insisted that she couldn’t help him.
However, Caleb rushed into the surgery looking for Liam to tell him about Chas, but he had already left. Clearly out of breath and struggling, Manpreet forced Caleb to sit down and have some water – before she asked him to get a health check up.
After she checked his blood pressure, she brought up Frank’s heart attack, asking Caleb if he would consider getting checked out. And to her surprise, he agreed. But after she managed to get the blood sample from him, her morals came back and she wasn’t sure if she could go through with it. Then, a chat with Charles in the church reminded her that she saves lives. So, will she go through with it?

Ross created a scheme to get rid of Kammy
New boy Kammy has only just arrived on our screens, but is already causing a lot of trouble. Charity and Ross spotted him getting close to Sarah at the garage, and Ross reminded her that girls “love a bad boy”.
He then informed Charity that he thinks Kammy had something to do with the quad bike theft – but that he was going to sort it.
Ross then grabbed Kammy and brought him to the cafe – to Kammy’s surprise. But that’s where Ross unveiled another plan. That he wanted Kammy to steal a tractor from Home Farm and give him half of the profits. But he can’t tell Sarah.
Clearly terrified of what Ross would do if he said no, Kammy agreed. But as he left the cafe, Ross made a phone call to the police.

The village gossiped and Joe spoke to Billy
News of Ella and Chas’ argument at the pub quickly spread around the village. And the usual village gossips Nicola and Brenda, wanted to know all about it. Much to Ella’s annoyance.
Elsewhere, Charles checked in on Billy, who admitted he and Dawn had been struggling in their relationship lately (understatement!).
Then, when he thought he was alone in Home Farm, Billy was on his tablet device. Until Joe walked in and informed him he needed to be more careful. But as it turns out Billy was deactivating his account. And Joe admitted he spotted Manpreet on his tablet a few weeks ago – and we finally know how Joe found out!
