Emmerdale spoilers for Wednesday, March 19 reveal a scary collapse for Chas. Will she be OK?

Engagement party drama aftermath

During Tuesday’s episode, John suggested to Aaron that they should throw an engagement party for his mum Chas and Liam in order to get her on side.

While everyone was enjoying the party in the Woolpack, Ella accidentally interrupted proceedings much to Chas’s disgust. Chas accused Ella of just being desperate for Liam’s attention.

Ella decided to stay in the pub, despite clearly not being welcome, and soon a spilled drink led to a full blown spat between the pair.

Chas and Ella’s bust up is the talk of the village. Can the ladies call a truce?

John is hung on on Chas’s reaction

During the engagement party, John proposed to Aaron. While Aaron immediately said yes, Aaron’s mum Chas didn’t seem so thrilled.

John later overheard her telling Aaron that she didn’t want him to make a mistake or marry John just because he thinks he owes him something.

Instead of focusing on his engagement to Aaron, John is still hung up on Chas’ reaction.

Victoria encourages him to play the long game to win her round. Will John manage to get Chas onside?
