John wants to marry Aaron for life insurance, a new Emmerdale fan theory predicts
It would explain the fast pace of things…
John and Aaron are set to marry after last night’s impromptu proposal, but a new Emmerdale theory suggests John could have life insurance on his mind.
At Chas and Liam’s engagement party in the Woolpack, John decided to surprise Aaron by proposing to him.
But, it’s all a little bit… fast, isn’t it? We don’t trust John and now we’ve wondered if he has an ulterior motive for getting wed to Aaron.

Emmerdale’s John and Aaron engagement
John was desperate to get into Chas’ good books last night (Tuesday, March 18), and he had just the idea on how to do it.
He decided to throw Chas and Liam a surprise engagement party in the pub, enlisting Aaron to help him.
Chas and Liam were rather delighted over the party (considering that they didn’t get much chance to celebrate during their initial limo crash engagement). How unfortunate.
However, during the celebrations, John’s attempts to put a smile on Chas’ face were short-lived. He quickly made the show all about himself by proposing to Aaron.
Chas was livid with John taking the attention off her and had words with Aaron, casting her doubts over John.
Aaron told his mum that he loved John and had agreed to marry him out of love, not because he felt forced to. As he should.

Emmerdale theory claims John to kill Aaron for life insurance
We’re not being funny but we think this engagement is all a bit too soon… It was only a couple of months ago that John and Aaron confessed their love for each other.
They do say ‘when you know, you know’, but we don’t trust John at all. After seeing how calm and collected he was when dealing with Anthony’s body, fans have wondered if he’s no stranger to helping cover up a murder…
And, we’re still not quite convinced that he was telling the truth about Aidan Moore dying in the war.
After last night’s proposal, we’ve sparked a new theory that could explain the speediness of things.
John might be planning on bumping Aaron off, just like he possibly did to Nate. But, why not kill him off right now?
Well, John could be planning on getting wed so that he can claim on Aaron’s life insurance. But, are we anywhere close to being on the money with this one?
