Emmerdale spoilers: Joe's plan is clear and Billy hides a secret

In Emmerdale spoilers for Monday, March 17, Joe’s plan becomes clear and Jai grows suspicious.

It looks like viewers are finally about to learn what Joe’s mystery illness is – right as he is getting progressively worse.

Also coming up in Emmerdale, both Dawn and Billy are keeping guilty secrets from each other. But will they come clean?

1. Joe rejects Dawn

Joe and Dawn have been embarking on an extremely dangerous affair for a while now. And even Kim knows about it. But since his health has been deteriorating, Dr Crowley told Joe he needed to stay away from Dawn. Which he has been trying to do.

But Dawn seems extremely keen to continue their affair, even though they have risked Billy finding out several times now.

However, when she heads to his room to see him, Joe is quick to reject her, forcing her out.

2. Joe’s plan becomes clear

After getting rid of Dawn, Joe opens his mystery suitcase and we finally see what is inside.

Later when Joe is looking extremely ill, Dr Crowley arrives and the two of them talk about the situation.

And it doesn’t take long for Joe’s plan to become clear. But what is it?

3. Billy and Manpreet share a moment

Manpreet’s blackmailer takes things up a notch and demands that she pays them money, which leaves her horrified.

Billy sees her and immediately is awkward about being near her after his recent behaviour. But he ends up getting a running injury, which the doctor is quick to patch up for him.

When Manpreet drops him home, before he gets out of her car, there seems to be a charged moment between them.

Billy heads into his house and immediately feels guilty about what happened. So now both Dawn and Billy are hiding their dirty secrets from each other (perfect marriage!).

4. Jai becomes suspicious

Despite owning the Depot, Caleb and Steph haven’t been turning up to work due to their recent Anthony discoveries. But this has meant Jai was doing everybody’s jobs.

Becoming more and more frustrated at that. Jai makes it his mission to find out why Caleb’s been gone – and wants to get one up on him.

But if he goes digging, what will he find?

Also coming up in Emmerdale spoilers for March 17, Ross begins driving a swanky, impressive new car, which definitely would have cost a bit of money.

When Mack spots this he becomes suspicious of the Barton bad-boy as there has been a lot of local farm machinery thefts.

Is Mack and Ross’ rivalry about to begin again? And where did Ross get the money for the car from?
