Follow-up: Billy ‘ruled out’ as Manpreet blackmailer – so, who is targeting her?
Billy isn’t Manpreet’s blackmailer – who is?
In tonight’s visit to Emmerdale (Monday, March 17), Manpreet continued to receive messages from her mystery blackmailer.
Despite previous clues that Billy Fletcher – who seemed to know all about Manpreet’s pictures – could be behind the blackmail texts, it seems his name is now in the clear.

Billy isn’t Manpreet’s blackmailer in Emmerdale
In The Hide, Manpreet received yet another text from her blackmailer, this time requesting she give them £5000.
While she was still looking at her phone, Billy entered, noticing that she ‘looked troubled.’
It became apparent to Manpreet that Billy’s leg was bleeding, and she insisting on patching the wound up for him so he didn’t end up with an infection.
As the pair headed to Home Farm, Manpreet’s phone chimed with another message. With Billy standing right in front of her at the time, there was no way it could possibly be him.

So, just who is targeting her?
Of course, Tracy is still a possibility. Strapped for cash, as she’s not receiving child support from Nate, she’s already been dipping her hand into the till at work… Might she have resorted to other means for quick cash, too?
Another potential blackmailer is Joe Tate. He’s no stranger to getting people to do what he wants, and tonight we saw him speaking with a doctor about his urgent need for a kidney transplant – by any means necessary.
Taking to social media, one fan said ‘I thought it was going to be Billy but does anyone else now think that Joe is Manpreet’s blackmailer because he needs a doctor to help him do whatever?‘ Could he perhaps benefit from both her money and medical expertise?
Or could Dawn be behind the texts? With fans hoping Billy might leave Dawn for Manpreet, is it possible his wife knew he was looking at her pictures all along, and decided to blackmail her over it?
