Could Liam still die? New Emmerdale fan theory predicts brain death twist
Liam’s not out of the woods yet
This week’s Emmerdale saw multiple lives hanging in the balance in the aftermath of a devastating limousine crash which claimed three lives and left others seriously injured – including village doctor Liam Cavanagh. As the car crashed into an ice-covered lake, unlucky party planner Suzy was killed instantly – and colleague Leyla followed soon after.
The third died last night, as Amy succumbed to the shock of her extended dip in a frozen lake. The others emerged in one piece, but it was touch and go for a while, especially where Doctor Liam was concerned.

Liam and Chas to marry following ice crash
Sustaining a head injury in the crash, Liam took a turn for the worse once ashore, vomiting and then promptly passing out. In the hospital, doctors determined that his injuries had been worse than they looked, hence his nausea and state of confusion.
In last night’s episode, he reunited with Chas, who reminded him that he’d been busy popping the question when the limo crashed. United as survivors, the pair decided to follow through and become man and wife. Some happy news, amid a week of tragedy and heartbreak?
However, some viewers have wondered whether there might be more tragedy in store for Liam and Chas. Is his head injury even worse than previously feared?

Liam to die after leaving hospital, Emmerdale fans worry
Writing on social media as last night’s episode aired, fans shared their thoughts on Liam’s well-being. And many worried that the soap may have one further trick up their sleeve yet.
“I’m wondering if Liam will recover enough to leave hospital and something will happen to the lead up to or after the wedding. He’ll have an aneurysm or something,” wrote one fan.
“I don’t know why but I think Liam may still die, something tells me he’s not going to survive the limo crash either. My mum thinks he’s going to be brain dead soon,” said another.
“I think he’ll either die or won’t remember he’s in love with Chas,” predicted a third.
“Why do I feel like Liam is next? Someone has died every episode so far this week,” a fourth commented.
