Fans aren’t happy with Caleb! His deceit of Cain might just be his lowest move yet
Fans were hoping we would never have to acknowledge Cain and Ruby’s one night stand
After the latest twist in Anthony’s murder cover-up, fans aren’t too happy with Caleb in Emmerdale. And some believe he has fully re-entered his villain era.
Last night’s episode (February 13) saw Caleb go to extreme lengths to put Cain in the frame for Anthony’s murder. And when Aaron caught on, he even threatened to make things bad for him, too.
Fans have been left annoyed with the sudden turn in Caleb’s character, and believe it may actually be his lowest move yet.
Emmerdale: Caleb frames Cain
Once Caleb discovered that Cain did indeed sleep with Ruby, he was hell-bent on revenge. But what would get him the satisfaction he so desperately wanted? Framing his brother for murder.
There are only a small number of villagers who know the truth about what happened with Anthony. And for once, Cain was the last one to know because he actually had nothing to do with it.
Cain was arrested last night, and Aaron quickly caught on that all wasn’t as it seemed. By the time the police went to search the garage, Aaron had worked out Caleb’s plan and gotten rid of the planted evidence before the police arrived.
But when Caleb found out, he was furious and wasted no time in telling Aaron that he can be next.
After his latest antics, fans were left furious at him, adamant that he will face the Dingle consequences for going after one of their own.
Fans fume at Caleb
Taking to X after the episode aired, fans expressed just how much Caleb has annoyed them. And they also took the chance to call out his hypocritical ways, as not too long ago, he was having an affair with Tracy – his nephew’s wife.
One wrote: “I have always hated Caleb. From scheming to do over Moira, cheating with Tracy, setting Aaron up and now Cain. I hate him.”
Another penned: “Sorry but isn’t Caleb being a massive hypocrite right now? Full on deliberately trying to set his own brother up for murder, when it wasn’t that long ago he was sleeping with his nephew’s wife.”
A third backed them up, adding: “Vile little man.”
However, other fans are ready for the Dingles to rally together to isolate Caleb out once more. As everyone knows, Dingles don’t go against each other in that severe of a way.
“This is definitely not going to end well for Caleb. He’s too sure of himself. I don’t think he will be arrested – I think he will be sorted by the Dingles,” an annoyed fan wrote.
Will Caleb come to his senses? Will Moira find out about Cain and Ruby? Or will Caleb die in the ice stunt before he ever gets the chance to put things right with his brother?
