April to be arrested for abandoning stillborn, new Emmerdale fan theory suggests
Fans are worried for what April’s future holds
A new Emmerdale fan theory has emerged, with viewers fearing that the police may arrest April Windsor for abandoning her stillborn child. This week’s episodes revealed that April had fallen pregnant prior to her disappearance – and the baby, tragically didn’t survive.
Suffering a stillbirth as she went into labour in a Leeds gym toilet, April stumbled back onto the streets, where she passed out on a nearby park bench. In last night’s episode (Wednesday, February 5), April reunited with her parents, who learned about her pregnancy and stillbirth.
Marlon and Rhona were shocked to discover that April had been pregnant – and now faced severe complications from the pregnancy. However, he was determined to be calm and understanding in the face of his daughter’s pain and trauma.
As the devastated dad sat at his daughter’s bedside, it was clear that her pain is far from over. However, one fan has feared that April might have even worse in store.

Police to arrest April for abandoning stillborn baby, Emmerdale fan fears
Writing as the episode aired, fans shared their reaction to April’s reunion with her father. And one fan worried that she might face legal backlash for her actions.
“So glad April is found safe but there’s gotta be an issue. Once Marlon and Rhona will take April back home the police may not let them bring her home yet as they may end up arresting her and charge April for abandoning the stillborn,” wrote one viewer on Instagram.
“If that ends up happening they won’t arrest her for a long time. Maybe a few months,” another pointed out.
“Of course they won’t,” said a third, less diplomatically.
This particular outcome seems unlikely, but it’s clear that April has a long road to recovery ahead.
