Classic Emmerdale spoilers: Two people are dead as the villagers hunt for their loved ones
It’s not looking good for some of the Emmerdale residents
In today’s Classic Emmerdale spoilers (Tuesday 14 January) on ITV3, the villagers rush to the scene of the explosion and find chaos and devastation. Will they find anyone alive in the debris of the show home?
These episodes originally aired on July 14 and 16, 2006.

Diane’s trapped!
Jack and Andy arrive at the scene and knowing Diane was there, they start frantically searching through the wreckage for her.
When rescue worker John sees a hand in among the debris, Val recognises it as her sister’s, and she’s relieved to hear that Diane is still breathing through an air hole. Val sits beside her, holding her hand as the workers manage to drag Diane from the wreckage.
Devastated Jack climbs into the ambulance beside his lifeless wife, panicking as the paramedics works to restart her heart.
Dawn’s in danger
Elsewhere, Dawn is dragged out from the rubble, and a relieved Bob rushes over as the rescue worker tells him she’s still alive.
Later at the hospital, Bob sits by Dawn’s bedside as the doctors arrive with her test results. Is it bad news?

Classic Emmerdale: Who’s dead?
Meanwhile, the Kings are searching for Jimmy, who’s nowhere to be seen. When a man is dragged lifeless from the debris, they’re terrified that it could be Jimmy.
And the Dingles are hunting for Shadrach, not sure if he’s trapped under the wreckage.
As the rescuers confirm there are two people dead, who hasn’t made it?
Are the Kings to blame?
The next day, the villagers are devastated as they try to come to terms with the loss of life in the explosion.
Jack tracks down the Health and Safety officer in the pub and makes sure he knows about the JCB crashing into the house before the opening. Meanwhile Carl and Matthew realise they’re going to need a solicitor.
The Health and Safety officer arrives at Home Farm and question Carl about the JCB incident. Carl tells them that Jimmy got a structural engineer in to check the site after it happened.
