Tonight’s episode of Emmerdale left Will Taylor fighting for his life after being attacked by Ross. Cornered by Kim after attempting to steal her car, Ross was tasked with getting rid of Will – by any means necessary.

To be clear, Kim didn’t actually want Ross to kill Will. Still, a bit of roughhousing wasn’t out of the question. Anything to get the smug moocher out of the house, eh.

Will dead after Ross attacks?

Ross intercepted Will as he walked back from babysitting the kids for Dawn and Billy. Bundling him into the back of a van, Ross managed to pacify the older man with a smack to the chops – only for Will to surprise him by coming to and fighting back.

As a struggle broke out, Will toppled backwards and smashed his head on a rock. Ross looked on horrified as Will lay unconscious on the ground.

Is Will dead in Emmerdale? Is Dean Andrews leaving the soap?

The episode’s shock ending came out of left field for viewers, with no indication given that Will would be attacked tonight. And it’s unclear what will happen next either, with no mention of Will Taylor in next week’s spoilers.

Actor Dean Andrews, who plays Will on the soap, has remained tight-lipped too. It’s important to note that neither he nor the producers have revealed plans to kill Will off – meaning that he may well have survived.

What we do know is that Dean jetted off on holiday to Dubai yesterday – suggesting that he might not be filming Emmerdale for a while.

“Let the journey to see @mrscobesxo @coburnfitness and our beautiful grandchildren begin. Me and @helenbowensomething_ always seem to end up in a bar,” the actor wrote on Instagram yesterday, sharing a snap from the airport bar, and tagging his family in the post.

Dean’s daughter and grandchildren moved there earlier this year, so it will definitely be a happy family reunion. But is it a well-earned break or a more permanent exit for Will Taylor?
