Cain and Ruby’s fling to be exposed at Christmas, fans predict
When will the truth come out?
It’s only just happened, but Emmerdale viewers have already come up with a theory as to when Cain Dingle and Ruby sleeping together will be exposed to their friends and family.
This follows the shocking events of this week, in which Cain cheated on Moira while she was in hospital undergoing brain surgery – with his sister-in-law, no less.
Cain and Ruby immediately regretted their actions, but the deed was done. And, as they returned to their unsuspecting spouses, both parties were eager to forget what had happened.
But these things never stay hush-hush for long, and Cain and Ruby’s secret is bound to be exposed sooner or later. But when?
Well, what better time to drop such a bombshell than Christmas, of course?

Emmerdale fans predict Cain and Ruby bombshell to drop at Christmas
Writing on X as the scenes aired this week, fans shared their theories as to when the truth might come out.
“Cain and Ruby has Christmas Day reveal all over it,” wrote one fan on the social media site X.
“Will Cain and Ruby’s secret stay a secret? I reckon it’ll be out by Christmas/New Year,” predicted another.
“So are we going with divorce, a xmas pregnancy or Cain going down the depression and suicide route?” said a third, predicting a particularly grim Christmas in the dales.
“Cain and Ruby will have a full on mad affair by Christmas, and will have to fess up, as they were boinking when Tom is killed,” another fan suggested.

Natalie J Robb teases what’s next for Cain and Moira
Speaking as the fallout dropped, Emmerdale star Natalie J Robb – who plays Moira on the soap – hinted at what might happen next.
“I think it’s really important that they stay together,” she told Emmerdale Insider and other media.
She continued: “Marriages go through things. There’s temptation. There’s things that can happen. If everybody just gave up after the first hurdle of a marriage, people would just not get married now. It’s so easy to get out of marriages now.
“A lot of people do go through things, affairs, different things, financial problems. There could be lots of things that happen that pull you apart but then things can push you together again, which I think is nice to play.”
