Spoilers: Ruby discovers heartbreaking family secret at her mum’s will reading
Is Caleb’s secret out?
It’s the week of Ruby Fox-Miligan’s mother’s will reading, in Emmerdale spoilers next week – and there’s a huge shock in store.
Ruby’s estranged mother recently died. However, before then, shifty-son-in-law Caleb took the opportunity to blackmail her, demanding money if she ever wanted to see her daughter again.
Mum Helen died anyway, leaving Ruby without a sense of closure. However, in the weeks since, she has discovered that Caleb in fact visited her mother on her deathbed.
Caleb has managed to talk his way out of trouble so far, with Ruby still none the wiser about the deal he made with her mother. But for how much longer will his secret stay buried?
And what fresh revelations will Helen’s will reading dig up?

Emmerdale spoilers: Caleb stresses over his secret
As the day of Helen’s will reading approaches, Caleb worries that Helen is going to expose his secret from beyond the grave. Watching as Ruby reads one of executor Fiona’s documents, Caleb is positive that she’s rumbled him.
However, Ruby’s world is turned upside down for entirely different reasons. She’s shocked to learn that Helen was secretly in touch with her estranged daughter – Steph.

Caleb breathes a sigh of relief
Following the events of the will reading, Ruby is feeling more isolated and vulnerable than ever. She confides in Chas, telling her that she’s grateful for Caleb giving her a link to the close-knit Dingle family when her own is so estranged.
Caleb enjoys a private moment of relief after making it through the will reading with his secret intact. But for how much longer will Ruby stay in the dark?
