Fans of Emmerdale have reacted with glee to the news that Hollyoaks star Twinnie-Lee Moore will be joining the soap as ruthless boxing promoter Jade. Viewers have watched as hard-up Billy Fletcher has joined an underground fight club so as to make ends meet.

This earned him a pounding in Wednesday night’s episode, in which he turned to Mack and John for help. As John helped stitch him up, Billy revealed that he had joined an underground boxing club.

Billy’s story continues in tonight’s episode (Friday, October 11), in which boxing promoter Jade pays Billy a visit, hoping to talk him into fighting again.

Jade is played by musician and former Hollyoaks star Twinnie-Lee Moore. Twinnie played Porsche McQueen on the Channel 4 soap opera between November 2014 and December 2015.

In swapping one village for another, Twinnie’s casting has Emmerdale fans excited for the prospect of a new female villain.
