Emmerdale: Mack’s used up all of his nine lives – here’s why he MUST die in next week’s bull chase
Mack has more lives than a cat
Stunts and life-threatening events happen quite often in Soap Land and Emmerdale village is all too familiar with this.
One villager in particular – Mack Boyd – has had a fair few near-death experiences of his own (and some have been his own doing!)
With Mack being injured by a bull next week, here’s why we think Mack must be killed off!

Emmerdale: Mack – Superman or a super fool?
When he first entered the Dales, Mack was rather liked by fans as Moira’s cheeky brother, but this feeling was short-lived as he got himself involved with Chloe Harris.
There was a moment when it looked as though Charity and Mack were soulmates, but after Mack’s fling with Chloe and huge baby daddy bombshell… well, let’s just say, he’s never been redeemed since, despite Charity rekindling their romance.
Over the course of his time in the village, Mack’s found himself in quite an unfortunate number of near-death scenarios… but we’re struggling to feel sorry for him.
You see, Mack has a habit of putting himself in sticky situations that could very well cost him his life. He never seems to learn from his mistakes though…
Last year, Mack found himself in a car accident with Charity and Chloe which only occurred as a result of his cheating. He then acted as a hero and saved Charity from the wreckage whilst Chloe ended up falling off a cliff (and somehow surviving!)
Then there was the time after this when he was held hostage by Chloe’s dad, Harry… (again, totally avoidable if Mack had kept it in his pants!) He somehow managed to get away though despite being threatened with a gun!
And, let’s not forget the time Charity stabbed him in the middle of the night after mistaking him for Harry. An incident he survived yet again… Is this guy immortal or something?

After all of this… could a bull kill Boyd?
Mack loves to stare death right in the face, doesn’t he? It’s like he lives for the thrill.
Next week, after making an enemy out of John (his own doing, surprise, surprise!), Mack is chased by a bull, before being injured in the barn.
Believing that John is behind the incident, Mack soon collapses after feeling rather woozy. Charity then fears that Mack’s injuries are more serious than first thought!
There’s only so many times someone can have a near-death experience and survive… If Mack survives this one, then he really must be invincible because there’s no chance that somebody would make it through everything Mack has done in real life. NO CHANCE! But, would killing Mack off be such a bad thing?

Emmerdale: Has Mack had his day?
Mack and Charity don’t have chemistry (there’s no shying away from this one!) They’ve never been able to restore the bond they had pre-Chloe, and it’s becoming quite hard to watch the pair together.
The problem is, Mack hasn’t been redeemed for his cheating and lies (and it’s unlikely that he ever will or CAN be!) Fans have branded Mack as ‘insufferable’ for his constant narcissistic and childish behaviour (grow up mate, driving John’s van into the lake was a bit immature…) And, can we really blame them? How many more times can Mack escape death?
There would be something quite satisfying if after everything he’s been through, a bull is the thing that brings him down!
