Caleb and Jai join forces in Emmerdale spoilers

Things have been quiet on the Caleb front in recent months, but the village villain is back with a vengeance! And he’s reset his sights on former foe, Kim.

Caleb’s vendetta against the lady of the manor goes way back. He blames Kim for the death of his father, Frank, and wants to make her pay. Kim thwarted Caleb’s first attempt to steal her millions, but his desire to destroy her hasn’t gone away.

Most recently, Caleb’s wife Ruby made her own bid to take Kim down. She and Rose conspired together to break up Kim’s marriage to Will, but got caught out!

So far, the Miligans have failed to get the better of Kim. But with Jai on board, Caleb is confident he can topple her from the Home Farm throne.

Jai shows Caleb who’s boss

In The Woolpack, Caleb and Jai toast to what they hope will be a successful partnership. Chas watches on, intrigued by the pair’s sudden new friendship.

The first phase in Caleb and Jai’s plan of attack is to target Home James Haulage. Caleb recently purchased a plot of land next to Home Farm, where he plans to build a business empire. To do that he needs lorries – of which, Home James have plenty.

Caleb’s scheming has already resulted in Jimmy and business partner Will being hit with a whopping fine. It’s left Home James Haulage teetering on the brink, now Caleb wants to wreck even more havoc.

Caleb decides to bribe their council contact, but tells Jai he needs more money to do so. This immediately gets Jai’s back up and he warns Caleb he won’t be messed with. Given his past behaviour, we’d agree with that.

There’s more bad news for Jimmy and Will

Over at Home James, Will is confused when an HMRC Officer arrives to check the vans for red diesel. We can’t think who tipped them off about that.

Jimmy’s horrified to learn the yard is being investigated. But as Will turns on him about the red diesel he hits back, tired of being attacked.

Will is convinced the business is being sabotaged and has a good idea of who’s doing it. But it seems Will has got the wrong man when he accuses son-in-law Billy of foul play. Oh come on, Will, we thought you were cleverer than this. Clearly not.

Will he realise what Caleb is up to before the business completely collapses? And what further misery do Caleb and co-conspirator Jai have in store?
