Acid Test Have you ever thought that maybe "the oceans are getting less alkaline" makes absolutely no sense to the average viewer? The writers were merely trying to express the concept that the ph balance was changing, in terms most people could understand. Journalistic integrity my eye. Oh dear. Tonights episode maintained the BBC's position of deception and complete bias when
reporting the issue of "Global Warming".
Your narrator spent several minutes explaining (without any challenge or balance) how the oceans have become "more acidic" due to the evil that is man made CO2.
Sir, I have to tell you that was, to put it bluntly, a lie. I could have danced around it a little, but nope, let's call it as it is. Your programmme deliberately misled hundreds of thousands of viewers full well in the knowledge that what was being broadcast was factually incorrect. To me, that's a lie.
The ocean is NOT acidic, it's alkaline. But then you already know that. So to claim that the ocean has become "more acidic due to the human emissions of CO2" is as misleading as turning the thermostat on your freezer from 6 to 5 and then claiming your freezer is getting hotter, when it's merely slightly less freezing.
If something is not acidic in the first place, how can it get more so? It - of course, cannot. It may become slightly less alkaline, but that's as far as it goes. Again, you knew that full well yet chose to mis-inform and deceive. If I had funds I'd sue you, and win.
Hang your head.
