FAQs
Why does BBC3, BBC4 not come up even after I select it in my channel list?
Only channels that have programmes on at the time you select will appear in your grid and as BBC3 and BBC4 start at 7pm any grid span before that they will not appear.

How do I create a profile?
On the home page there is a blue box that says customise channels, just select your UK region (this sets up your regional BBC/ITV channels) and your system (i.e. Freeview, Sky, Virgin). On the next screen you will be able to individually select each channel. This feature can also be found by going to “My Channels” in the top navigation under the Home tab.

How do I remove a channel?
Once you have customised you will no longer see the blue box with the select system/region. At this point you press the 'Select Channels' button to customise your channels. You can also go to “My Channels” in the top navigation under the Home tab.

Why does my channel selection not save?
Channel saving relies on cookies, if you have them switched off your channel settings will not be saved. (You can switch on cookies just for TVGuide in Internet Explorer - Tools menu -> Internet Options -> Privacy tab -> Sites -> enter 'www.tvguide.co.uk' and click allow). You can retrieve your channel settings, if you have saved your email address with your profile by clicking “My Channels” in the top navigation under the Home tab, and then logging in.

Why is channel [obscure channel] not available?
Email us the channel and if people want it, we will add it.

Why does TVGuide not default to the current time?
It does. You are probably using a bookmark with a time saved in it. Just delete the bookmark and set it up with just http://www.tvguide.co.uk (without anything at the end of the URL).
