I had exactly the same experience. They spluttered and I laughed. Of course the incidents are heightened (a bit) for dramatic effect but that's exactly what it was. Great film indeed (looks a little dated now but that doesn't detract).

The Dire Force
A certain type of person will like this movie. Its undemanding. Great after a skinfull and you cant be bothered to tune in your last sober braincell to anything decent. Or if your testosterone leve is higher than your IQ. Sit back, put your feet up, switch off and work your way through another few cans and a pizza as you enjoy its redneck goodness.
